Day 38 of 108

I am not quite sure how to describe todat. Some parts were rough. Most was easy. A lot of old narratives kept washing up inside my head. I am beginning to see the tremendous merit in all the effort that society puts in repatterning efforts. How do you constantly stay vigilant against old, repetitive thoughts? But one must stay vigilant. Otherwise really nothing changes in a deep and significant way.

Anyway, here are all the things I am grateful for:

1. Papa is well. He sounded despondent. But 2026 so far seems to convey the idea that this year requires tempered enthusiasm. I wish I could have connected with him in person. But there is work to be done here and that's how it is going to be.

2. Some money from past work came in. Huge relief.

3. Ate quite a bit today. But the 3 hot, crisp masala dosas made at home was nice.

4. Enjoyed the cup of tea in the morning.

5. A friend called to say hi. We didn't talk much but it is always lovely to hear her voice.

6. Quite liked these two YouTube videos:

https://youtube.com/shorts/Z8efmtuRLF8?si=BoB408b7fMt1fiqR -  (Helpful person in Masterchef wins)

7. Tried out a new coffee place today - Dripface. Best avoided. Putting it down as something I am grateful for because they gave us a scoop of icecream with some crumbly bits.

8. A friend shared an audio clip of her baby girl of 2 months making sounds. So, so cute!
