Day 37 of 108

Not exactly the most productive of days. In fact, so exhausting that I can't believe that it's not even a full seven days of the New Year yet. Well, no one promised it to be easy. So, here we are.

Anyway, here are all the things I am grateful for:

1. Papa is okay. Had gone for his check up today. On other fronts he is doing well but his blood pressure is high. And he showed no external symptoms at all. Apparently it is more common than people realise...the silent blood pressure. At least we found that out. Grateful for that.

2. Had money to pay for the expenses, a relatively comfortable auto ride to Chembur, and buy his medicines. It so happened that I got some money from an old freelance assignment. I am really, really thankful for this.

3. Both help had come today.

4. Had a safe ride to and fro.

5. Had a good, big meal. Have been eating a lot. Well, there is food on the plate, electricity, and water. Have a cute , comfortable home. Lots of books. Am mobile. A heart that knows the value of prayer. Enough humanity to forget what's good and yet remember the way back. For now, we will navigate our way through the world accordingly.
