A reasonably peaceful day. It has been raining and there have been such rowdy gusts of wind. In Vashi, the roof of our terrace blew off. But thankfully, nothing else happened. I got a few other video scripts to work on today. So some labour has been earmarked for this week. Another pitch has happened but after this month, I will plan on creating a nice, meaningful pitch deck.

Here are all the things I am grateful for:

1. Papa is well.

2. Cook had made a really awesome mushroom rice.

3. Got a remark from one of the readers. I suppose they were the one of those who wanted to "collaborate" and did not like what I had written about that arrogance parading as "reaching out". Their comment was reasonable and expected. I am grateful because it proves me right. People seeking to assist others without self-awareness do more damage than good. And their colossal ego will not let them see otherwise. Still. It was one comment. Am sure there will be others.

4. A friend from one of my first jobs had moved to Ahmedabad. He came over and brought me such a beautiful white cotton saree with tiny red buds embroidered all over it. The cotton was so soft. It was not as thin as muslin but it was really soft. I wore it in the evening with a vest (which is how I wear my sarees). It is something you could wrap a baby in. He also got me a sweet pickle made with ginger, chillies, jaggery, and radish. It tasted like a desi sauerkraut. He has a really good voice. So as it rained out and I made cheese sandwiches and chai for us, he sang a song from Kati Patang.

5. Am safe. My productivity had dipped today. But it's okay. It will be on point tomorrow.
