Day 65 of 108

My feet were hurting and I had thought of cabbing it home. But I made up my mind to show grit for once. I really am tired of being at the mercy of the body. The body must obey the mind. But I did soak the feet in warm water with salt and soothed it down. I had such a lovely time meeting my friend! We met at Kala Ghoda, took in the art exhibits at Jehangir - some lovely art pieces! There was a whole set with Nandi looking at a crescenrt moon that was gorgeous! And some aquatic scenes!

Anyway, I feel like stopping the blog for some time now. I am feeling quite exhausted. But once I start something, it sometimes feels too compelling to stop. But maybe I will not write for a few days from tomorrow until I get my groove back.

Here are all the things I am grateful for:

1. Papa is well.
2. Very grateful that my legs could carry me to and fro the outing today. I managed to go and come back by train. I am actually grateful for the determination t not just sit it out despite the pain.
3. Meeting with my friend. So much ahs changed in our lives butso much is the same.
4. Just heading to town.
5. Buying a few books off the streets of Colaba and visiting Kitaabkhana.
6. Having a safe, sweet home to return to.
7. Having the ability to warm up water, carry the bucket, etc. to soak my feet.
