here's one. a good way to deal with it is to take it as prasadam. take what you will, and offer the rest, or unwanted ones, to birds, or the universe, with a heartfelt thanks. :)

:-) or maybe smile sweetly and hand it back to the person. he or she may give it to someone else who'll be willing to follow it.
